LifePort is seeking motivated Production Technicians to support the assembly of advanced Armor systems. This broadโrange posting covers levels I and II, allowing placement based on experience, demonstrated skill, and training capability
Position Overview:
Production Technicians assemble Armor system components using various machines, hand tools, and composite materials. Technicians interpret engineering documentation, fabricate parts, and perform precision assembly tasks to support highโquality aerospace and defense products.
Essential Functions:
- Blueprint Interpretation- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications, job orders, and engineering documents.
- Composite Fabrication- Understand equipment requirements, fabrication sequences, and materials such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resin, and rubber.
- Precision Layout- Lay out and mark dimensions, reference lines, and patterns using templates or drawings.
- Cutting & Trimming- Cut, trim, and finish armor parts to close tolerances using hand routers, drills, sanders, and inspection tools.
- Structural Assembly- Perform structural bonding, insert installation, panel edging, carbonโfiber ring installation, and fastening of composite assemblies.
- Training Capability- Experienced technicians may train new hires using established company procedures.

- Aerospace experience preferred
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient and/or become proficient in the use of Outlook Internet software; ERP/SFM Manufacturing software and Time and Attendance Payroll systems
Education, Certifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Entry Level (Tech I): 1-year related experience or equivalent training.
- Experienced Level (Tech II): 2โ5 years of applicable production experience and ability to train others.
