Job description

The Entry Level Tech is, highly-motivated worker who takes pride in working with vehicles and people. You will be working under a Senior technician.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities::
• Able to handle brake changes, tire changes, general maintenance and the ability to learn.
• able to maneuver vehicles carefully in crowded spaces, moving and parking vehicles for maximum lot efficiency
• make sure every vehicle is displayed in its best possible state; consider internal vehicles vs. customer vehicles
• monitors each vehicle's gas, water levels, tire pressure, battery life; check all vehicles for
suspensions that have fallen
• able to occasionally engage with customers; must be friendly and informative, able to answer
customer questions in a professional, conversational manner
Physical Demands / Requirements::
• Duties performed in a variety of settings and surrounding environment. Physical activities are
required, such as but not limited to kneeling, reaching, stooping, climbing ladders, frequent
walking, standing, lifting, up to approximately 50 pounds, and occasional lifting of equipment
weighing up to approximately 75 pounds may be required. The worker is subject to inside and
outside environmental conditions, noise and hazards. The environment also exposes the employee to potentially hazardous substances.
Education and Experience::
• high school diploma or equivalent required
Key Competencies::
• able to operate vehicles with manual transmissions
• able to safely operate company and client vehicles
• must have a valid Oregon drivers license with insurable driving record
• must be familiar with basic email and computer skills, phone, cordless drill/screwdriver, battery
charger
• must dress in a neat and tidy manner and adhere to company dress code
• must be able to meet the physical demands essential functions of the job
• must be willing to take direction
• should be mature and highly motivated
• must be able to maintain effective personal relationships with supervisory, staff members and
customers.
• must be flexible in hours
• ability to adapt to change as we are a growing company
• must be willing to submit to a pre-employment criminal background check and results must meet
company standards
• must be willing to adhere to random drug testing and results must be clean
