Job description

LaSalle Network is partnering with a logistics organization seeking a Service Desk Technician to support end-user technology deployments, device configuration, hardware preparation, and technical support activities. This role is ideal for an individual with strong attention to detail, foundational IT support experience, and a desire to grow their technical skill set in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Configure and deploy Windows 10 and Windows 11 workstations for end users.
  • Perform device imaging, setup, quality assurance testing, and shipment preparation.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot peripherals, including printers, scanners, and related hardware.
  • Support Dell desktops, laptops, and associated equipment.
  • Assist with hardware inventory management, asset tracking, and documentation.
  • Respond to technical support requests and escalate issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to support ongoing technology projects and operational initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work and technical activities.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a desktop support, service desk, help desk, or IT support role preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
  • Experience with computer imaging, deployment, or hardware configuration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook and Teams, is a plus.
  • Experience with CargoWise, AS400, Zoom, or similar business applications is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
