Job description

Job Title: Welder Operator

Job Description

This role focuses on producing high-quality ground screws used in solar farms and construction sites. You will perform small hand welds and operate a robotic welding machine to ensure each ground screw meets strict quality standards. You will start and monitor welds, correct any weld discrepancies, and conduct quality checks throughout the entire production process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform small hand MIG welds on metal components.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor robotic welding machines.
  • Ensure proper weld penetration, alignment, and weld quality.
  • Inspect welds for defects and make repairs as needed.
  • Load materials and components into welding fixtures and machines.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Support fabrication and general production activities.
  • Handle parts and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Troubleshoot minor welding and equipment issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures and welding standards.

Required Skills:

  • MIG welding experience.
  • Experience operating robotic welding equipment.
  • Machine operation experience in manufacturing or fabrication.

Pay and Benefits
