Position:                                          Shop Worker/Helper

Job Description:

Our company is looking for a Shop Helper to serve as an assistant in various areas of the warehouse/fabrication shop. We’re seeking someone with a good work ethic with attention to detail and who likes meeting challenges and can multitask. Opportunities to grow into specialized roles available. This is an entry level position into being a fabricator.
 
Job Duties:

·         Duties could include packaging, banding, operating a table saw, assembling parts onto pallets. 
·         Assisting in unloading and loading of steel trucks.
·         Pulling hardware.
·         This position frequently uses an overhead crane and forklift to move material around the warehouse and yard. 
·         Operating various pieces of equipment, including drill line or angle master.
·         Provide assistance in maintenance or production work in the shop.
·         This job requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs periodically.
·         Sweeping and cleaning up regularly to ensure safe working conditions.
Job Experience:

·         Minimum Qualifications 2 years of dependable work experience 1 year of manufacturing/warehouse experience 
·         Preferred Basic math skills and reading a tape measure.
·         High school diploma
