\r\nMake a Difference!\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nNow offering Recruitment and Referral Incentives at theDepartment of State (DOS)!\r\n\r\n\r\n$10,000.00 Recruitment Incentive for:\r\nRegistered Nurses\r\nAdvanced Practice Nurses\r\nNurse Consultants\r\nNursing Supervisors\r\nCompliance Nurses\r\n\r\n\r\n$7,500.00 Recruitment Incentive for Licensed Practical Nurse\r\n$5,000.00 Recruitment Incentive for Certified Nurse's Assistant\r\n\r\n\r\nReferral bonuses of $1,000 are available to referring DOS employees.\r\nYou must be a new employee to the State of Delaware to be eligible for this program.\r\n\r\n\r\nTheDepartment of State (DOS)seeks to increase the number of applicants for clinical nursing positions by offering a recruitment incentive to eligible Advanced Practice Nurse, Nurse Consultant, Nursing Supervisor, Compliance Nurse, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, and Certified Nursing Assistant candidates in accordance with the DOS Recruitment and Referral Incentive Program.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe program provides incentives as follows:\r\n\r\n Recruitment incentives will be paid in quarterly installments over the first year of hire and will begin after the first quarter of employment. New employees accepting this recruitment bonus must commit to two consecutive years of employment with DOS. You must be a new employee to the state to be eligible for this incentive.\r\n Referral bonuses of $1,000 are available to current DOS employees who refer new hires to the state in the following classifications: Advanced Practice Nurse, Nurse Consultant, Nursing Supervisor, Compliance Nurse, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, and Certified Nursing Assistant. Essential Functions

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Registered Nurse I\r\nApplicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:\r\n\r\n Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license,Delawaretemporary license ormulti-state compact license.\r\n\r\nJOB REQUIREMENTS forRegistered Nurse II\r\nApplicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:\r\n\r\n Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher in NursingOR at least one year experience as a Registered Nurse.\r\n Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse licenseOR multi-state compact license.\r\n\r\nJOB REQUIREMENTS for Registered Nurse III\r\nApplicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:\r\n\r\n At least two years' experience as a Registered Nurse OR a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing and at least one year experience as a Registered Nurse OR a Master's degree or higher in Nursing.\r\n Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license OR multi-state compact license.\r\n\r\n

Conditions of Hire

All new hires are required to attend an in-person, statewide mandatory New Employee Orientation on their first day of employment. The session will be held at a designated location in either Kent or New Castle County.\r\nPre-employment Drug Testing: Upon a conditional offer, you must undergo pre-employment drug testing as part of the hiring process.\r\n\r\nCriminal background check: A satisfactory criminal background check is required as a condition of hire.
