Role Overview

This is a role where you could design and deliver research for well-known brands you would recognize. This is not an entry-level position.You should have at least 1 - 2 years of hands-on primary custom market research experience to qualify.

Our industry groups have a diverse set of clients offering you the chance to work on projects ranging from large quant studies that are fielded internationally, or smaller highly custom studies that may include a mix of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to manage. Across our teams, we have great people, great work, and clients that treat us like an extension of their team. In addition, we have internal experts to help you learn and grow analytically, plus navigate the nuances of our clients' business or industry.

Base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000. If this is not the right range for you, please check out our other openings. This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities Overall
  • Support and help execute custom market research projects that use a variety of research methodologies and advanced analytical approaches.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, internal colleagues and support departments (e.g., programming, data processing, coding, advanced analytics, etc.)
  • Proactively record and summarize information shared in internal and external meetings to identify needed actions and next steps.
Survey Development & Testing
  • Assist account teams in developing custom questionnaires which efficiently gather insights to answer the client’s objectives.
  • Independently format surveys and prepare them for programming.
  • Thoroughly test programmed surveys to ensure flow, wording, appearance, logic and skip patterns match survey and capture the needed insights.
Field Management & Data Quality
  • Apply understanding of survey sampling concepts, their impact, and use so that you can effectively monitor field progress and proactively recommend solutions for issues that arise.
  • Monitor data quality by developing SPSS syntax for initial and interim data collection (set and apply strike criteria) and data table checking.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Develop draft data analysis plans based on research and business objectives.
  • Support execution of phases of the analysis plan.
  • Analyze research results and create “client ready” graphical displays, tables, summaries, and narratives to convey the implications of the data.
Qualifications
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of prior custom Market Research experience with a market research supplier - preferably supporting Life Sciences / Pharma industry clients
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of basic statistics, research procedures, and survey methodology
  • Proficiency in SPSS required
  • Experience with data mapping, troubleshooting data that doesn’t make sense, weighting data, etc.
  • Must have effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must show strong organizational skills, time management and attention to detail abilities
  • Works well on multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
