Join our dynamic team and play a key role in crafting the future of the Apple TV app across Windows and other platforms! You’ll have the exciting opportunity to develop and implement innovative features, seamlessly integrating with system tools like widgets, Siri, Spotlight, and tvOS Top Shelf. Collaborating with a talented and encouraging team of engineers, you’ll help design and refine user interfaces, improve app functionality, and ensure smooth system integration. Your contributions will directly influence the evolution of our app and underlying frameworks, as you balance multiple projects and deliverables with creativity and precision. Code Quality & Architecture: Collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams to architect robust, testable UI components and ensure flawless feature releases at every milestone.
Feedback Iteration: Rapidly prototype experimental user interface concepts, iterating based on peer critique, leadership feedback, and user testing.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with the Windows App SDK, WinRT, and Win32 APIs.
Experience with WinUI3, XAML, or similar frameworks for user interface development.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or .NET; knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of experience in creating Windows desktop applications.
Strong knowledge of concurrency, multi-threading, and event-based programming.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $142,300 and $214,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
