Position Summary

Creates, develops, and deploys digital solutions and systems by leveraging advanced technical skills to design and code software applications, perform system testing and debugging, work with cross-functional teams, and influence the overall technical strategy and innovation of digital engineering initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop functionality/application for given requirements by focusing on Functional, Non-Functional and Maintenance needs.

  • Collaborates with other members of the development team and stakeholders to make high-level architectural decisions, proposes design patterns, and ensures scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutions.

  • Integrates various software components or systems, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between different parts of the solution.

  • Develops and implements detailed test cases, carries out code reviews, performs debugging, and resolves issues to guarantee the reliability, stability, and high quality of solutions.

  • Creates and maintains technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, code documentation, and other relevant documentation while sharing their knowledge and expertise with team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and collaboration.

  • Participates in agile or other development methodologies, attends meetings, contributes to project planning, and helps drive the progress and success of projects.

  • Support and Troubleshoot production incidents with a sense of urgency by understanding customer impact.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years' work experience.

  • Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork.

  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills.

  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) preferred.

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$101,970.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
