Job description

TeamLogic IT of Pasadena CA provides Managed IT Services for businesses of all sizes. We provide extensive on-the-job training and comprehensive employee benefits for qualified candidates and college graduates. Come join us for this exciting opportunity as an experience builder in IT.
As an entry-level Technician you will be responsible for answering phone calls and email support requests, troubleshoot and repair personal computer hardware and peripherals, mostly through a remote connection. In addition, you will monitor and maintain network systems, troubleshoot and make improvements to customer's networks and printers as necessary. You may also be required to assist with running structured cabling and troubleshooting internal building Layer 1 connections.
We are looking for candidates with a strong ability to learn technical skills to:
  • Provide technical assistance and support incoming queries from users
  • Monitor network security
  • Remotely train users and write training manuals
  • Walk customers through problem-solving processes
  • Optimize and maintain network software and hardware
  • Perform network infrastructure troubleshooting

At least one of the following certifications are required after the first 3 month probationary period:
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Net+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician)
  • MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
  • CCNA or equivalent certifications

Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Good customer communication skills, experience working with help desk staff, writing e-mail responses, and providing basic written how-to help information. Ability to follow instructions is highly valued.
The following is required:
  • Lift up to 50lbs.
  • Comfortable working on ladders.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in tight spaces.
  • Comfortable working with heights
  • Must Be 18 Years of age or older
  • A valid Driver's License is required
