Upfront Plumbing Drains Heating and Air is currently hiring for a full-time Plumbing Assistant to support our experienced plumbers and learn the plumbing trade while getting paid to do so in the Midvale, UT area. This entry-level skilled labor position earns a competitive base pay plus opportunities for bonuses.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PLUMBING ASSISTANT

This entry-level skilled labor position typically works Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.


As a Plumbing Assistant, you work alongside our experienced plumbers, providing crucial support and gaining valuable skills. You're responsible for helping select the necessary tools and equipment before each job, ensuring that everything is ready for a successful project. Working closely with your supervisor, you evaluate project needs and provide cost estimates to clients.


During each project, you provide essential labor and support to the plumber, ensuring that all work adheres to federal, state, and local codes. You also help clean up the site at the end of each job, leaving the customer's property even cleaner than before. As you learn new skills and gain experience, you take on increasing responsibility under your supervisor's guidance, opening up opportunities to advance your career in the plumbing industry!
