4. Coaching and guiding teams as they learn SAFe.
Position Summary
The role performs as an Agile (SAFe) Coach and Trainer as part of Agile (SAFe) Transformation engagements. This person is self-directed and innovative in planning and executing client engagements and can drive to business outcomes based on objectives without needing much guidance. This person is passionate about transforming software delivery organizations leveraging Agile, Lean and other modern software best practices. This person is very collaborative and excels working within and with teams.
Repsonsibilities: Coaching Engagements
Deliver agile (SAFe) coaching and training in Agile (SAFe) Transformation engagement:
1. Deliver various Agile training classes to clients. This can include:
a. Role specific training: Scrum Master, Product owner
b. Practice specific training: Agile requirements and user stories, Agile testing practices
c. Method specific training: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe): Leading SAFe, SAFe for Teams, SAFe SM, SAFe PM/PO
2. Provide coaching for teams and programs leveraging Agile/Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
3. Understand client's organization and transformation objectives
a. Understand client's organization structure, business goals
b. Work with the core agile program team to understand the transformation goals, objectives, plans, impediments and dependencies.
c. Work with the client's PMO to understand the means by which Agile projects can satisfy governance requirements.
4. Collaborate with other coaches during the engagement
5. Partner with the Transformation Leader and the ATS Practice to understand overall engagement approach/strategy
6. Agile Transformation frameworks, blueprints, reference models and other reusable assets.
7. Deliver measureable value and client success.
8. Foster opportunities for additional sales
