Job description

The Revenue Cycle Trainer develops, delivers, and maintains training programs that strengthen competency and consistency across revenue cycle operations. This role serves as a senior individual contributor and subject matter resource for onboarding, workflow education, system training, competency support, and process-change education related to patient access, authorization, billing, claims, follow-up, denials, reimbursement, and related revenue cycle technology platforms.
Annual Salary Range: $83,116.80 - $132,995.20
Qualification
Education:
  • Requires bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Health Information Management, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and directly related revenue cycle, healthcare operations, or training experience may be considered.

Experience
  • Requires three (3) years of revenue cycle, patient access, billing, claims, denials, reimbursement, health information management, or related healthcare revenue cycle experience.
  • Experience developing, delivering, or maintaining training materials, job aids, workflow education, system training, or competency support for adult learners.
  • Experience using revenue cycle technology platforms, LMS tools, Microsoft Office applications, or related systems to support training delivery, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Experience supporting Epic or comparable revenue cycle technology workflows.
  • Experience with instructional design, e-learning tools, virtual training delivery, quality review, process improvement, or change-management support

Certification/Licensure:
  • Epic certification or credential related to revenue cycle application training is preferred.
  • HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), AAHAM certification, or Association for Talent Development (ATD) certification.
