• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients’ mental health, formulating clinical diagnoses and developing individualized treatment plans that address specific challenges and goals.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness-based interventions, custom-fit to the needs of each client.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress, ensuring their safety and stabilizing their mental state through de-escalation techniques.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure clients receive holistic support.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, serving as an advocate for their needs within the healthcare system.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development through workshops, training sessions, and other educational activities to stay at the forefront of mental health best practices.

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals from various backgrounds, couples navigating relationship challenges, families facing systemic issues, and groups addressing common mental health concerns. Your empathetic approach and culturally competent care will help these clients find pathways to recovery and growth.

• A valid mental health counseling license (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R) is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is necessary.
• Strong skills in clinical assessment and diagnostic processes are essential to effectively understand and address client needs.
• A minimum of two years of related experience in the mental health field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients and their families.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

• While previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, we offer entry-level positions for passionate candidates with a strong desire to learn and grow.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
