Position Overview

Womens Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity.   • Maintain accurate and secure documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives.
  • Stay current with research, best practices, and advancements in the fields of child and adolescent mental health and psychiatry.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role is on children and adolescents facing a spectrum of mental health challenges. You will work closely with young patients who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders, ensuring they receive the appropriate therapeutic interventions and support tailored to their unique needs. Collaborative family involvement is a key component, as you will work to educate and engage caregivers in the therapeutic process, enhancing the overall effectiveness of treatment.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
  • A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in delivering therapy to children and adolescents.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and child developmental frameworks.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering rapport and trust with patients and families.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in outpatient mental health settings, especially with children and adolescents.
  • Familiarity with family therapy techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
