Quinn Account Coordinator Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct research and build media lists, editorial calendars, awards lists, influencer lists with direction from account team.
  • Monitor media, social coverage, travel trends and client competitors; track and organize client coverage for internal reporting
  • Maintain internal calendars of key events/holidays/awards/conferences to support proactive planning.
  • Assist in organizing cross-client group pitches.
  • Draft and distribute first round of select pitches and press releases that were approved by the respective supervisor/assigner.
  • Draft and share client blurbs for agency roundups.
  • Contribute ideas for partnerships, creative ideas.
  • Monitor for client coverage and track within relevant reports.
  • Provide administrative support such as drafting clip memos, coverage reports, maintaining clip grids, reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly), maintain RSVP lists, briefing books (including for media and/or influencer stays), and more.
  • Maintain consistency across accounts with standardized templates, trackers, and formats provided.
  • Share relevant client/industry news and updates for internal awareness
  • Assist account teams with day-to-day tasks, projects and scheduling depending on assignment.
  • Coordinate and book travel for media + influencer press trips.
  • Other projects as assigned such as submitting calendar/event listings and more.
  • Assist with press trips or events as needed (coordination of bookings, itineraries, face sheets, etc.
  • Attend in-house trainings.
  • Support on-site events as needed (check-in, set-up/break-down, etc.)

Interested candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or English preferred
  • Previous PR experience (at least 1 PR internship and/or 1 year of agency experience); interest in travel, food, wine & spirits is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Team player, willing to take on any task, large or small.
  • Must also be proactive, organized and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to anticipate, manage time effectively and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.

Candidate lives within commuting distance of Los Angeles area or is willing to relocate (Quinn PR does not pay relocation costs)
