Job Title: PR Manager, Aerospace Location-Type: Remote Start Date: Early September (knowledge transfer period) Duration: Contract, through January 31 Part-Time, flexible hour engagements (approximately 10-20 hours per week) Compensation Range: $50-55/hr W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorship Job Description: The client is seeking an experienced PR professional with a strong aerospace background to serve as a contract lead across a portfolio of sector-specific accounts, covering a planned leave through January. Job Summary Serve as day-to-day PR lead across a portfolio of aerospace accounts, managing client communications and relationships Lead strategy development and execution for assigned clients, including pitching to aerospace and business media Participate in quarterly planning sessions to get up to speed on client priorities and ongoing initiatives Drive annual planning cycles (November through December) for assigned accounts Represent the team on client calls and lead the strategic communications direction throughout the engagement Manage introductions and relationship continuity with existing clients during the transition period Minimum Requirements: 5-10 years of PR experience with strong track record in the aerospace sector (recent experience required) Established relationships with aerospace reporters and relevant business publications Demonstrated experience in PR strategy, planning, and media pitching Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience in defense communications in addition to aerospace Agency background with experience managing several clients and supporting or leading a team Media training and media prep experience Comfort with part-time, flexible hour engagements (approximately 10-20 hours per week)
