• Reporting directly to the Social Work Manager, the LCSW will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a spectrum of psychosocial issues. By utilizing an array of clinical social work skills, you will assist clients and their families in navigating personal and environmental challenges linked to mental or physical health conditions.
• Adherence to the standards set forth by the NASW Code of Ethics is paramount, ensuring all practices meet professional guidelines.
• Your daily tasks will include conducting comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to identify barriers to treatment and enhance clients' health outcomes, while maximizing resource utilization.
• Provide ongoing consultation to medical and support staff, sharing insights regarding clients’ psychosocial needs to inform effective, comprehensive care plans that facilitate treatment compliance and coordination of care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Document all social work activities in clients' medical records in accordance with departmental policies, ensuring compliance and maintaining patient safety.
• Educate clients and their families about medical and social work recommendations, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery journey.
• Coordinate advocacy activities within the community to bolster social support systems and resources available to clients.
• Maintain detailed records and statistics for case-related activities as mandated by department standards.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through engagement in relevant training and educational opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and departmental protocols to maintain a secure and efficient care environment.

The primary focus of this role includes working with individuals undergoing detoxification, as well as those dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring needs. You will meet clients from diverse backgrounds, addressing varying psychosocial challenges while cultivating a supportive relationship that promotes recovery and growth.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program and a current license from the State Board of Social Work Licensure is required.
• The minimum requirement for licensure is that candidates must hold a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and skills in providing care across all stages of human development, aging processes, and cultural competencies in the context of social work.

• At least six months to one year of clinical experience, particularly in health or mental health settings, with an emphasis on populations similar to those served at our detox center.
• Experience using therapeutic approaches and interventions tailored to individual and group therapy frameworks and best practices in behavioral health.

The annual salary for this LCSW position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
