Job description

Lab Coat Marketing is a digital marketing agency working with self-storage operators and law firms across the country. We're hiring a Marketing Assistant to support our team of Marketing Strategists and leadership team. This is an entry-level role built for someone who wants to start a real career in digital marketing.

What you'll actually be doing:

You'll support our Marketing Strategists and leadership team on the day-to-day work that keeps client accounts running smoothly. Your responsibilities may include tasks like conducting audits, implementing client requests, and executing tasks across our accounts. You won’t be limited to one repetitive responsibility.  You'll be exposed to a wide range of marketing work across different clients and industries.

What we need from you:

The most important qualities we’re looking for are efficiency, accuracy, organization, and a willingness to take ownership of your work.  We need someone who is a self-starter and can execute tasks quickly without sacrificing quality. Someone who looks at a stack of work and figures out how to get through it efficiently and correctly. Attention to detail matters more than almost anything else in this role, because small mistakes on client accounts cost us client trust.

If you can develop a habit of working through your task list quickly and accurately, you'll free up time during your week to learn. And that's the point of this role.

Where this goes:

This role is designed to be a starting point for long-term growth within the agency.  As you prove you can handle the execution side quickly and well, you'll have the opportunity to use your extra time to start learning the strategy side of the business, with the goal of growing into a Marketing Strategist or Ad Strategist role. How fast that happens is largely up to you and how quickly you master the fundamentals.

Who this is for:

  • Someone early in their career (or just starting one) who wants to break into digital marketing.
  • Someone who's naturally organized and detail-oriented.
  • Someone who wants to be handed real client work, not busywork.
  • Someone who's motivated by the idea of working their way up, not just clocking in.

We'll teach you the marketing side; what we need is someone who takes ownership of getting things done right and fast.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $40,000-$45,000/year
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance, fully covered by the company
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Remote position
  • Full-time position
  • Company-provided computer and equipment
