Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify clients' needs and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other modalities to address individual and family issues.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to foster understanding and community among clients dealing with similar challenges.
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists and allied health professionals, ensuring an integrated approach to client treatment and well-being.
  • Provide crisis intervention support during acute mental health challenges, equipping clients with tools for immediate coping.
  • Educate clients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and available community resources to empower their self-management.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Participate actively in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment outcomes and share best practices.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and therapeutic techniques to continually enhance your practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse clientele, providing care to individuals from varying cultural, socioeconomic, and demographic backgrounds. Our clients are often navigating complex life circumstances, and a strong focus on empathy and understanding is essential to build trust and effective rapport.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Exceptional skills in performing comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies.
  • Experience providing individual and group therapy, particularly to a diverse client base.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Sound judgment and a strong commitment to maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.
