The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will operate within a climate-controlled remote setting, allowing for flexibility and comfort in managing a demanding workload. While the position is remote, regular communication and collaboration with department members and healthcare providers will be maintained using modern communication technologies to ensure seamless patient care and teamwork.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients to establish a thorough understanding of their mental health needs, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
• Design individualized treatment plans that reflect cultural sensitivity and address the unique challenges related to cancer diagnoses, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to support patients' mental health diagnoses, monitor ongoing progress, and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
• Document all treatment records, reports, and clinical information promptly and accurately to adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standard of care.
• Collaborate closely with patients and their families to develop comprehensive treatment objectives, focusing on maintaining patient safety and achieving symptom reduction.
• Facilitate referrals and effective communication between patients and additional healthcare providers, serving as a resource and link in the treatment process.
• Provide mentorship and educational guidance to students and interns, fostering an environment of learning and professional development within the team.
• Engage in peer-to-peer reviews and clinical collaborations under the supervision of a senior clinician to promote ongoing team development and quality improvement.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals and families affected by cancer, providing them with empathetic support as they navigate their challenges. • A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

The position comes with an annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
