We are looking for an experienced editor and proofreader to support our affordable book editing and proofreading work across a range of genres. Good writing matters. This role suits someone with a sharp eye, strong language skills, and a genuine interest in helping authors present their work clearly.
As a Book Editor and Proofreader, you will review manuscripts for spelling, grammar, punctuation, clarity, consistency, and overall readability. You will work closely with different types of manuscripts and provide useful editorial feedback while respecting each author's voice. The role involves copy editing, proofreading, checking formatting issues, tracking changes, meeting agreed deadlines, and preparing clean files for the next stage of publication.
