Job description

Overview:

As an HR Assistant with Brixmor Property Group you are a vital member of our HR/Talent Team. In this entry-level role, you will provide administrative support in all functional areas of the department which include new hire processing, employee data, benefits administration, event planning and organizational development. You will report to the VP, Human Resources and work closely with all members of the HR/Talent Team in providing day-to-day support.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the success of company-wide events and benefit administration, such as Service Days, Take Your Kids to Work Day, Internship events, all-employee events, wellness events, etc.
  • Assists with the auditing or proofreading of various communications, policies, data sheets and documents
  • Acts as a Talent team point of contact, providing assistance to employees relating to general inquiries and routing other issues to the appropriate Talent team member
  • Works with confidential employee data, including assisting with the input of employee changes and maintaining HRIS, synchronizing necessary documents with payroll and delivering regular reports to team
  • Coordinates processing of invoices for the department and manages expense reports for the Chief Talent Officer
  • Updates organizational charts, approves HR team members timecards, and creates HR bulletin biweekly
  • Administer new hire and exit surveys
  • Review and approve tuition reimbursement, personal development, service day, and business card requests
  • Provides recruiting support such as sourcing, candidate outreach, and market research
  • Assists with various research and special projects, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Ability to handle a high level of sensitive and confidential employee information, maintaining confidentiality and always exercising discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent proofreading, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must have a strong team-orientation and flexible, collaborative approach to work
  • Proven ability to learn new technology and systems quickly and apply them to daily tasks
  • Continued willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Brixmor offers a hybrid work schedule (first three days of the week in the office, the balance remote optional), very competitive pay commensurate with background and responsibilities plus a benefits and perks package that supports career engagement, growth, good health and connection with teammates and our communities.


The base salary range for this position has been established as $52,000 - $60,000 PLUS participation in our annual cash bonus plan. This salary range represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
