Location: Reston, Virginia-fix/flex schedule with remote flexibility

DFM Development Services is an established consulting firm based out of Reston, VA that caters to the real estate development industry. We provide a variety of Development Support Services (red tape related items) to local and national real estate developers, corporations, and other real estate owners on projects throughout the Metro DC area.
We are a boutique firm with an excellent client list. Due to recent growth, we are seeking a to hire an Assistant Project Coordinator to join our Permit Expediting team immediately to provide clerical and administrative support. They will review permit submissions, manage data logs and maintain an open line of communication between expeditors and managerial staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Clerical and administrative support to permit expediting team. Manage permit status logs. Prepare and send out detailed project updates to client team. Review permit submission packages to meet the requirements of the various jurisdictions. Review online permit tracking systems, prepare draft applications based on building plans.
  • Prints and delivers No Parking Signs to active job sites.
  • Process payments and applications at different jurisdictions

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant administrative experience.
  • Strong clerical and administrative skill set.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
