Dewberry is currently seeking an Entry Level Highway Engineer to join our Highway Engineering Department in our Bloomfield, NJ office.  This is an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a team of outstanding professionals. Responsibilities include design and preparation of contract documents for roadway improvement projects for various clients including the NJDOT, NJ Turnpike Authority, counties, and various other public and private sector clients.

  • BS in Civil Engineering required
  • EIT/FE preferred
  • 0 - 2 years of experience
  • Prior internship or summer work experience preferred
  • Familiarity with NJDOT and NJTA design standards and practices
  • Familiarity with AASHTO and MUTCD
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, AutoCAD and/or Microstation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in team environment 

The projected range for this position is $84,000 - $86,500 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
