About Quality Tube USA

Quality Tube USA is a new manufacturing facility in Midlothian, Texas, focused on producing high-quality steel conduit products. We are building our team and are looking for motivated professionals who want the opportunity to grow with a new operation.


Position Summary

Quality Tube USA is seeking an Entry-Level Project Engineer to support and oversee engineering and manufacturing projects from initial concept through completion.

This position is ideal for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional who is organized, technically minded, and interested in manufacturing. The Project Engineer will coordinate projects across multiple departments, track timelines and deliverables, communicate project status, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and according to specifications.

This role is focused heavily on project coordination and oversight, with opportunities to develop hands-on engineering and manufacturing experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee assigned projects from initiation through completion.
  • Coordinate project activities between engineering, operations, quality, maintenance, purchasing, warehouse, and other departments.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.
  • Identify project delays, issues, and risks and assist with developing solutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and other outside partners as needed.
  • Review project requirements, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Assist with 3D CAD models, mechanical designs, and redesigns when needed.
  • Assist with mechanical parts surveying, measurements, and documentation.
  • Coordinate inspection and evaluation of parts and components.
  • Support the implementation of new equipment, processes, products, and modifications.
  • Maintain accurate project records, drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Assist with project cost tracking and identify potential budget concerns.
  • Work closely with production and operations to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities.
  • Assist with ergonomic and workstation evaluations when applicable.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Prepare project updates and reports for the Project Manager and Operations leadership.
  • Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Entry-level candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Internship, co-op, academic project, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles.
  • Familiarity with 3D CAD software preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
