ABOUT THE TEAM
The Media Investment team is a skilled group of individuals supporting Agencies and Brands with strategic media buying across DSP, Search, Social, and Direct channels. The Media Investment team is agile, solutions-oriented, and focused on campaign performance metrics. Support spans both managed service and self-service customers who are looking for experienced buying support for positive business results.
WAYS YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
The Social Media Buyer is responsible for managing specific social campaigns pre and post launch, as well as ensuring social RFPs and campaign launches are managed in a proactive manner. The Social Media Buyer is responsible for understanding the media plan objectives and how social can directly affect overall performance of the campaign. You'll contribute by:
  • Building and QA-ing campaigns according to best practices

  • Maintaining a strong understanding of the paid social landscape and the latest products, solutions, and best practices across all major platforms

  • Reviewing campaigns daily to monitor pacing, audit performance, and own all optimizations

  • Stewarding Basis' client's media investment across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, Pinterest and X

  • Working alongside Basis' internal cross-functional Operations team, Analytics team, and Digital Media Buyers and Planners to develop performance stories and ensure campaign results based on measures of success

  • Building strategic campaign plans for social RFP requests

  • Crafting client facing POVs based on the evolving social landscape

  • Assisting in the training, mentoring, and development of Social Media Buying Associates

  • Adopting new processes or workflow modifications as introduced to ensure accountability for the consistent and repeatable use of process

  • Troubleshooting technical issues with creative, tactics, URL's, pixels, ad management platforms, and other campaign settings when necessary

  • Providing education on paid social platform tools to other internal teams as needed

  • Assisting in the development and documentation of best practices related to paid social media management for both internal and external documents and assets

  • Developing a relationship with clients through direct communication via external statuses, QBRs, and ad hoc meetings

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • 2+ years of experience with the daily management and execution of paid social campaigns across various platforms

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to pull and analyze reports from various ad manager platforms

  • Familiarity with first-party and third-party data and tagging/pixel placement

  • Detail-oriented and organized

  • Developed communication and presentation skills

  • Solutions-oriented

  • Proficiency in Excel, PPT

  • Precise attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment

  • Commitment to creating inclusive, respectful environments where all voices are valued and supported.

  • Thoughtful approach to collaboration, design, and decision-making that prioritizes equity, access, and continuous learning.

$68,637 - $82,000 a year
This salary range reflects a typical compensation range for the role and level in most U.S. locations. Final compensation offered will depend on your location, experience, and skills. Total compensation may also include bonuses, equity, and competitive benefits.
