About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is well suited for early-career engineers who are excited to contribute to product development efforts while building hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies with a focus on injection molded plastics, die castings, labels, and sheet metal parts.
  • Create and revise 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks.
  • Design and edit product labels in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Utilize Windchill PDM to manage design information
  • Support prototype, testing, verification, and documentation of designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, supply chain, quality, etc.) to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements.
  • Participate in project management tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and milestone tracking.
  • Support supplier communication, reviews, and coordination as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (including 3D modeling and 2D drawings), Windchill, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Project and/or professional experience with design for injection molding, die casting, and sheet metal fabrication required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn in a hands-on engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship or professional experience involving supplier management/coordination.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and processes.
