Job description

ABOUT AIRRACK
Airrack is a tight-knit team that pulls off ambitious, innovative YouTube videos that get millions of views. We're creative, gritty, and passionate about making content no one else dares to. We work hard, have a great time doing it, and we're always pushing to see how far digital storytelling can go!
THE ROLE
This is an entry level production role for someone who wants to build a career making YouTube videos at a high level. You'll work directly under the Associate and Lead Producers (AP, LP) on active productions, handle outbound coordination, support shoots, and help run the smaller productions that keep the channel moving. You're here to learn how to eventually own your own productions!
HOW TO APPLY
Watch this video to learn more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF-X-Q46JwA
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Assist Associate Producer in procuring and testing props, wardrobe, and set pieces ahead of shoot day to make sure everything works against the creative vision.
  • Pack and transport all props, wardrobe, and supplies for local and remote productions, keeping an organized inventory, restocking as needed with AP approval on spend.
  • On shoot days: set up and tear down production supplies, props, and crew meals, and handle last-minute runs, pickups, and returns.
  • Coordinate with creative and post-production to oversee in studio shoots: sourcing props, visual aids, wardrobe, extras, and gear, prepping everything in advance, and running those shoots on the day.
  • Support the AP and LP across all active projects as needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • You want to make YouTube videos for a living and your goal is to be an elite Producer. You're willing to put in the reps to get to that level.
  • You watch a lot of YouTube and think about the production side of what you're watching. What makes a video work, what gets you excited about it, how it was put together.
  • Fast and self-directed. You track your own tasks, follow up without being asked, and don't let things slip.
  • Takes pride in their work and sees what needs to be done without waiting to be asked.
  • If remote: you handle all outbound reach-outs for upcoming concepts, including locking down locations and specialists, supporting research, managing budget reconciliation and receipts, and adding confirmed travel to the production calendar.

BONUS POINTS
  • Any prior production experience, even informal.
  • Existing relationships with vendors, crew, or talent in the LA area.

Benefits
Salary: $70-$80k DOE with performance bonuses available.
WHY JOIN US
  • Work with an awesome group of talented, passionate people who actually enjoy what they do.
  • This is the entry point to becoming a top-tier Lead Producer. You'll be directly mentored by Associate and Lead Producers, challenged to grow, and given real responsibility from day one.
