Job Desscription

We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Automotive Delivery Service Advisor to support our dealership's vehicle preparation and delivery operations. This is an entry-level, full-time position working three 12-hour days per week, offering an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in automotive service and operations. We are looking for a highly motivated team player with computer and phone skills, who is highly motivated and able to communicate with multiple departments.

In this role, you will oversee the workflow of two technician teams, coordinate vehicle preparation for the Sales Department, manage new vehicle inventory arriving for sale, and ensure sold vehicles are properly prepared and delivered to customers. You will also assist with a limited customer drop-off schedule, identify maintenance opportunities for the Express Service Team, and receive training to grow into an Express Service Advisor role or main shop Service Advisor role.

Compensation includes an hourly base rate with the opportunity to earn weekly commissions based on Key Service Indicator (KSI) performance and technician productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage vehicle preparation activities for the Sales Department.
  • Oversee all new inventory vehicles arriving at the dealership and ensure timely readiness for sale.
  • Manage sold vehicle preparation and pre-delivery inspections to ensure vehicles meet dealership standards.
  • Maintain and supervise a limited customer drop-off schedule.
  • Identify and recommend maintenance and repair services for Express Service customers.
  • Open, maintain, and close repair orders within the dealership's Dealer Management System (DMS).
  • Dispatch and distribute work efficiently between technician teams.
  • Monitor service workflow to ensure vehicles are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Provide and review digital Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) videos and recommendations with customers when applicable.
  • Communicate vehicle status updates and work progress with Sales, Service, and other dealership departments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and administrative records.
  • Reinforce company policies and operational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and dealership procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training to develop into an Express Service Advisor role.
