Job description

We are seeking an eager, strategic, and definitive financial advisor to fill an entry-level position that offers room for growth and a promising job outlook. Responsibilities:
  • Determine cash flow, income, financial status, financial goals, monetary assets and all other financial situations related to wealth management to help clients define and achieve their financial objectives
  • Customize financial plans for each client based on his or her professional/work circumstances, life stage, and evolving financial needs
  • Be a coachable, organized team member interested in pursuing training development and educational opportunities
  • Seek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisor
  • Provide strategic recommendations for products, plans, investments, and other methods to help clients achieve financial goals
  • Sell & Maintain Life Insurance & Annuities
  • Sell & Maintain Assets Under Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Provide tailored financial advice and solutions to clients
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing
  • Continuously learn and apply new industry knowledge
  • Collaborate with the team and share best practices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and compliance documentation



Qualifications:
  • Exemplary math skills, communication skills, and relationship skills to support strong customer service for current and new clients
  • Up-to-date FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 documents are a bonus
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, financial planning software, Google Suite, and other tools strongly preferred
  • A required Bachelorโ€™s degree in business administration, finance, or similarly related field
  • Working knowledge of financial products, the financial industry, personal financial advisor or responsibilities, or financial planner roles is essential
  • Active Life Producer Licenseย in your state of residence (Virginia or West Virginia)
  • Proven ability to sell life insurance products and generate leads
  • Excellent phone skills, with the confidence to reach out to new prospects and clients
  • Business mindset with a strong drive to succeed and grow a personal business
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn and improve
