Responsibilities + Key Requirements

We are searching for a mid-weight Product Designer who is genuinely passionate about actualizing objects of consumer-informed product design. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating products for our network of clients as well as our private label products. You possess the ability to manage a wide range of projects while maintaining supply-chain, apparel manufacturing, and being able to execute a portfolio of diverse projects across multiple factories.
Effective project management skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential as you will be managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. Collaborating closely with our global network of manufacturers, you will leverage your understanding of manufacturing processes to negotiate favorable and cost-effective pricing. In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining and organizing an effective workflow through documenting all steps of the process with both internal and external collaborators.

  • Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in exploring emerging materials, manufacturing processes, and product technologies across hard and soft goods.
  • Contribute to innovative product solutions while balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Translate insights, trends, and user needs into commercially viable product concepts.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to resolve design, engineering, and production challenges.
  • Iterate quickly through sketching, prototyping, and testing to validate design intent.
  • Develop accurate, production-ready tech packs including specifications, materials, construction details, and BOMs.
  • Ensure all technical documentation meets manufacturing requirements and quality standards.
  • Continuously improve documentation workflows and standards across projects.
  • Collaborate directly with domestic and overseas factories to support development, sampling, and production.
  • Manage communication related to revisions, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Review samples, provide clear feedback, and ensure alignment with design intent.
  • Research, source, and evaluate materials, trims, and components for both hard goods and soft goods applications.
  • Work closely with design, production, and project management teams to deliver products on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, senior designers, and art directors to integrate branding and visual language into product.
  • Partner with internal teams to align on timelines, costs, and feasibility.
