MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (Entry-Level)

POSITION SUMMARY: Must be a U.S. citizen or have a Green Card & Live in the US
Support development, implementation & CI of production processes within the aluminum extrusion operation.

  • Entry-level role designed for recent graduates, offering hands-on training and development in extrusion processes, safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Will work closely with experienced engineers & operations teams to learn & apply best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) required.
  • 0–1 year of experience (internships or co-op experience in manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong interest in manufacturing and process improvement.
  • Basic problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in learning and understanding established production processes and protocols.
  • Support the team in monitoring day-to-day operations to ensure processes are being followed.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating process documentation in alignment with company and ISO standards.
  • Support communication of process updates and changes to the production team.
  • Participate in structured training programs to learn aluminum extrusion processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Support onboarding and training efforts for new employees as knowledge develops.
  • Participate in CI initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
  • Work with operations and maintenance teams to support production efficiency, including minimizing downtime (e.g., die change processes).
  • Assist with basic problem-solving and root cause analysis efforts.
