Job description

An Entry-Level Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline. In this job, you will support design for tooling for building aircraft engines.
Job Duties:
* Support equipment design and development
* Design, including concept sketches and layouts
* Preparation of specifications and design calculations
* Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by subordinate engineers, designers, and vendors
* Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors.
* Presenting engineering design review presentations
Required:
* BS or MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline
* Skilled with Microsoft Office tools and possess some knowledge of modeling and analysis using one or more tools
* Knowledge of industry standard practices and project organization; task supervision by
* design/drafting personnel.
* Experience with stress analysis, technical writing, and manufacturing process
* Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication abilities
* Legal authorization to work in the US required and has or able to get security clearance
Preferred:
* Experience with NX or other modeling software
* Experience with ANSYS
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $62,400 to $66,560 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
