Entry Level Machinist- Experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
This position description is designed to outline primary duties, qualifications and job scope, but not to limit the

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum
Essential Functions, Knowledge and Competencies
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more), frequent bending and twisting
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Math skills (decimals, fractions)
• Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawings
• Must understand the proper use and limitations of standard inspection measuring and test equipment
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Must have vision correctable to 20/20
• Ability to distinguish color
• Basic computer skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be available for all shifts
Responsibility/Authority
• Alerting immediate supervisor of any problems in process
• Handling parts to prevent damage
• Authorized to stop the process upon the detection of a nonconformance or safety issue
• Maintaining a neat and orderly work area
• Maintaining machines and tooling
• Producing quality product and meeting production standards
• Completing in-process inspection documentation per established requirements
• Training employees as needed

• None
