General Labor, Route Helper, Entry Level - We’re hiring General Laborers / On-Route Helpers to manually/mechanically collect waste and assist drivers in FORT WORTH, TX. The role of the On-Route Helper involves assisting the Driver during waste removal services on designated residential routes. This position ensures prompt and courteous service to customers by safely loading waste into the vehicle, carrying bags and containers for disposal, and helping guide the Driver while maneuvering the vehicle. In addition, the On-Route Helper helps to maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, as well as the residential route and work area. Working with recyclables is not a glamorous job but it’s a necessary one that helps keep our community clean. NO DIPLOMA OR EXPERIENCE NEEDED!! Tons of Growth Potential - We Promote from Within! MORNING SHIFT AVAILABLE! Schedule: 6AM-6:30PM As a full-time General Laborer / On-Route Helper, you’ll earn $15.00 per hour. Key responsibilities as an On-Route Helper: · Assist the Driver on designated routes by riding along and providing support. · Climb on and off vehicle to load refuse, waste and poly carts; lift and carry trash bags and containers to the truck for disposal. · Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver while servicing residential customers on a designated route. · Operate packing mechanism and various controls to activate lifting and loading equipment. · Maintain professional interactions with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure timely, thorough and exceptional service delivery. · Monitor waste for any unacceptable materials during collection. · Uphold productivity standards to ensure efficient service delivery to all customers. · Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. · Fulfill other duties and tasks as assigned. Prior general labor or waste/recycling experience is a plus, but not required. We need reliable, detailed and safety-oriented On-Route Helpers who: · Are at least 18 years of age or older · Can lift up to 50 lbs. · Successful completion of a fitness test is a prerequisite for consideration in this role. · Demonstrate good customer service skills to meet and exceed customer expectations. · Ability to adhere to work schedules, safety policies and assigned tasks with a positive demeanor. · Consent to a background check.
