Job description

Prominent Metropolitan HVAC manufacturer’s representative company is seeking Entry-Level Estimators to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, have knowledge and ease of navigating computers & software, showing attention to detail, work well with peers and take direction from management.

We will offer training to a suitable non-experienced candidate who demonstrates the ability of being able to handle the work.

Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand mechanical drawings
  • Use manufacturers software
  • Complete takeoffs from mechanical drawings
  • Provide detailed quotes based on the takeoffs
  • Price up all products represented by ADE
  • Prepare detailed proposals
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

** AutoCAD or 3D Modeling Program experience not required **

Preferred Background

  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Computer skills preferred: Takeoff Software (PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, etc...), Microsoft Excel knowledge, Enterprise Resource Planning Software (Microsoft Navision)
  • Other skills required: Organization, Ability to learn, High attention to detail
