POSITION OVERVIEW
The Facility Maintenance Assistant (Handyman) supports the Facility Maintenance Manager in overseeing and maintaining Riverside Country Club's buildings and grounds. This entry-level position involves a variety of tasks, including general labor, minor repairs, maintenance of mechanical equipment, and running errands. Each day brings a new challenge in a first-class club environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Facility Maintenance Manager with the upkeep of all club buildings, including the clubhouse, pro shop, banquet facilities, and dining hall.
Monitor the condition of outdoor facilities, including the swimming pool and tennis courts.
Complete general labor jobs and assigned maintenance tasks.
Assist with minor construction projects and small repair issues.
Perform basic mechanical equipment maintenance and upkeep.
Run errands and pick up necessary materials as needed.
Report any significant facility concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic handyman skills required.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including climbing ladders, lifting, stooping, and prolonged standing.
