Part-Time Pickleball Professional And Pro Shop Staff

The National at Ave Maria Golf Club, located in Ave Maria, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Pickleball Professional and Pro Shop Staff. We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of tennis club operations. As an associate of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in tennis, golf, and community management.

Duties:

  • Seeking a Pickleball Professional (4.5+ level or higher) to lead high-level instruction, including drills, clinics, and private lessons focused on advanced strategy, consistency, and competitive play.
  • Lead and develop advanced-level pickleball clinics, including strategy, point construction, and competitive play
  • Provide an engaging, welcoming experience for members and guests of all ages and abilities
  • Assist with daily pro shop operations, including:
  • Front desk coverage and member/guest check-in
  • Operating POS system for retail and program transactions
  • Managing inventory (ordering, stocking, merchandising)
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of shop
  • Responsible for opening and closing procedures of the pro shop as needed
  • Strong communication and customer service skills required
  • Must be reliable, organized, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Hourly pay for shop/operational duties is $15/hour
  • Commission based earnings for pickleball lessons and clinics
  • Support overall racquet sports programming, events, and tournament

Skills Need:

  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn POS is required.
  • Retail experience or customer service experience required.
  • Tennis and or Pickleball knowledge is preferred.
  • Must have ability to multitask.

Schedule:

  • Flexible Schedule Required
