Job description

About the Role: 
Picklr Bozeman is looking for enthusiastic and skilled Pickleball Instructors (part-time or full-time) to join our growing team in beautiful Bozeman, MT! This is your chance to share your passion for one of the fastest-growing sports in the country while helping players of all ages and skill levels learn and elevate their game. We are looking for both experienced Pros as well as those who can play pickleball (at a intermediate/advanced level) and what to start teaching the sport to others. Training provided, as Picklr's proprietary P4 training program has been developed by PPA Professional trainers, and is designed for those just learning the sport to those with designs on going pro.

 
Responsibilities: 
  • Plan and deliver engaging pickleball lessons for individuals, small groups, and clinics
  • Assess player skill levels and tailor instruction to beginner, intermediate, and advanced participants (depending on instructor experience)
  • Demonstrate proper techniques including serving, dinking, volleying, and court positioning
  • Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment on the court
  • Track player progress and provide constructive feedback to support skill development
  • Assist with organizing recreational play, tournaments, and community events
  • Maintain courts and equipment to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience

Requirements:
 
  • Solid knowledge of pickleball rules, strategy, and technique
  • Prior experience coaching, instructing, or teaching sports is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with players of all ages
  • Patient, motivating, and adaptable teaching style
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic about growing the sport
