Position Overview
Pickleball Instructional Professionals will teach Pickleball Classes, Clinics, Lessons, and other Pickleball related instructional programming. Instructors report directly to the Club Coordinator and assist them with any programming and promotional needs. Instructors are responsible for maintaining all Picklr equipment used during their activities, providing a fun and inviting atmosphere for all of the participants, and to promote any and all Instructor and Club related sales, marketing, and customer service initiatives. Instructors should have the entrepreneurial drive to seek out and build a clientele base that expands with them as they grow their career.



Responsibilities
  • Instruct Pickleball Classes, Clinics, and Lessons while encouraging participation in all of the Club’s activities
  • Assist the Club Coordinator with all activity programming and promotion
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all Members and Guests of the Club
  • Maintain courts and equipment in a professional manner and ensure that the environment is safe for all who use the facility
  • Promote club memberships to all potential prospects
  • Supporting Front Desk Coordinators.
  • Create Picklr's programming schedule for customers for the next 6-12 months.
  • Assist with keeping the club clean and orderly at all times
  • Provide members with the best experience possible
  • Host Leagues
  • Participate in marketing opportunities as requested


Roles
Role #1 - Teach

  • Provide quality private lessons
  • Provide quality clinics under the direction of the Club Coordinator
  • Provide lessons and clinics for private events
  • Greet the members/guests upon arrival (know your members' names).
  • Fully clean up the used courts after the clinic or lesson
  • Teach youth programs

Role #2 - Basic Software Management

  • Input private lessons on Play by Point (POS System)
  • Check in private lessons on Play by Point
  • Make sure payment is complete before starting lesson

Qualifications and Skills
  • Pickleball Instructional, Coaching, and Playing Experience
  • Passion for helping others succeed, with patience and adaptability to teach a diverse set of players of all backgrounds, ages and skill levels
  • Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekend hours
  • Proven ability to conduct Skills & Drills Clinics for players up to a 3.0 skill level.
  • Preferable: 4.0+ DUPR
  • Opportunities for advancement include certification in the Picklr Power of 4 (PP4) program for upper-division instruction (in-house training provided).
