What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, client policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, stock and receiving spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and/or support loss prevention awareness by reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, or security-related issues.
  • Assist with closing procedures, alarm-related responses, and/or crowd and line monitoring during busy periods, special events, or peak shopping hours.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
