Design portions of land development projects using relevant software and Civil 3D technology.
Complete calculations, prepare specifications, and develop design details and plan sets for projects.
Perform field observation, inspection, data collection, and communicate with clients and internal teams.
Timmons Group is currently seeking Civil Project Engineers at various levels to join our Land Development groups in our Richmond, VA office location. We have opportunities in our Residential, Commercial and Public Land Development groups. Projects range from multi-family and mixed-use developments, market rate apartment communities, large scale industrial and distribution projects, residential neighborhood design to public land development projects like schools, jails, fire stations and parks.
We assist our clients with zoning entitlements, civil site plan approvals, and construction administration support. Our project engineers will typically work in a team of 2-3 design engineers and a project manager to bring our client’s vision to life. The complexity and fast paced nature of our client’s needs creates a dynamic environment for our team members and fosters a culture of teamwork, diverse training opportunities, and builds a sense of ownership in the successful outcome of the project.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOur best estimate of the salary range for this position is $77,000-$110,000. Offers are based on a range of job-related factors such as internal equity, experience, skills, education, credentials and role complexity.
