Nick Romo State Farm is seeking a motivated, sales-minded Telemarketer / Sales Development Representative who is interested in building a long-term career in the insurance industry. This role is designed for someone who enjoys talking to people, generating opportunities, and wants a clear path into a licensed sales position within our agency.
You will play a key role in driving new business by generating leads and setting appointments-while gaining hands-on experience and industry knowledge that prepares you for a future licensed sales role.

Role Overview
As a Telemarketer / Sales Development Representative, you will focus on outbound calling, lead generation, and appointment setting. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, helping introduce our agency and identifying opportunities for our licensed team.
This role builds the foundation for success in a future insurance sales career.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce State Farm products and services
Identify and qualify leads by gathering key customer information
Schedule appointments for licensed agents
Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns and referrals
Provide basic information about insurance products and services
Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and interactions
Track activity and performance against daily and weekly goals
Stay compliant with State Farm guidelines and communication standards
What We're Looking For
Interest in building a career in insurance and sales
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable making outbound calls and handling objections
Motivated, coachable, and goal-oriented
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple leads
