Responsibilities
  • Administer purchase orders for goods and services across multiple divisions and programs
  • Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes for both competitive and non-competitive procurements
  • Expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and minimize risk
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms & conditions with suppliers
  • Evaluate vendors based on reliability, pricing, capabilities, and performance history
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payments
  • Work with warehouse teams and suppliers to reconcile shipping discrepancies and packing slips
  • Maintain and update supplier records within the MRP system
  • Support additional purchasing and procurement functions as needed
Qualifications
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous purchasing or buying experience preferred
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Understanding of purchasing procedures and procurement best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Deltek Costpoint experience preferred
  • Space flight or aerospace parts purchasing experience is a plus
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
