The Company:

Summary/Objective:
The Order Management Specialist supports the needs of the business by meticulously handling order entry, coordinating work orders and truck schedules, managing inquiries via email, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and strategically documenting project details. This role is 100% on-site. The pay range for this role is fixed at $50,000 to $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Candidates with strong, relevant experience may be offered salaries toward the higher end of the range, while those earlier in their careers can expect offers aligned with the entry level of the range. The role is 100% on-site.
This position is well-suited for candidates with strong office administration skills and precise data entry abilities. We're looking for individuals who excel in managing administrative tasks with precision and thrive in dynamic office environments.
Essential Functions:
  • Input customer orders into the ERP system.
  • Facilitate order expediting for the sales department.
  • Generate and schedule work orders for the warehouse.
  • Address customer service inquiries concerning orders, predominantly via email.
  • Guarantee timely and budget-conscious delivery of all orders.
  • Strategize and document all elements of a designated project.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to function well in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior customer service and/or project management experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or light manufacturing environment is a plus.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to make repetitive movements, including moving of the wrists/and or fingers, bending, or squatting.

  • This position will work indoors in a temperature-controlled environment.
