This role supports the dealership’s operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by ensuring quality service and a clean, safe work environment. The technician also upholds the dealership's standards of integrity and professionalism. Primary Responsibilities Perform lube, oil, filter, and multi-point inspections accurately and efficiently. Identify supplemental vehicle service needs and communicate them to management. Maintain vehicle cleanliness during service and repair processes. Deliver prompt, accurate service to ensure high customer satisfaction. Keep the work environment clean, organized, and comply with OSHA and EPA safety requirements. Follow all management directives and support teamwork within the service department. Demonstrate ethical behavior and a positive professional attitude at all times. Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality. Work Environment Work is performed in a shop setting and may involve exposure to noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and weather conditions. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required. At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice preferred. Maintain a valid driver's license and a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) within company policy requirements. Local state inspection license is preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to work in a shop environment with noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives. Ability to lift a minimum of 100 pounds. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle tools and equipment. Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be required. Must have good vision including close, distance, peripheral, and the ability to adjust focus. Capable of safely operating equipment and moving vehicles.
