Job description

Job Title: Production Operator
Client: Aerospace Industry
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Position Overview
This is an entry-level manufacturing role where the Production Operator will learn and perform various fabrication and repair processes for aerospace component parts using specialized tools, equipment, and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Use tools and equipment to manufacture or repair aerospace components to traveler specifications.
  • Perform inspections per traveler requirements to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards.
  • Attend training and on-the-job (OJT) sessions to develop technical manufacturing skills.
  • Operate equipment such as sandblasters, chem-mill loading/unloading systems, masking tools, hand-held motors, and belt/wire wheel sanders.
  • Adhere to all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) policies.
  • Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance; follow company values and leadership instructions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (required); ability to read and understand English per FAA requirements.
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments (preferred).
  • Skilled in using hand tools, manufacturing machinery, and measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic computer skills (Windows and site-specific programs after training).
