Within the IS&T organization's SAP Development Team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting essential enterprise applications and constructing the technical backbone that drives Apple’s core functions-including Sales, Retail, Services, Finance and Operations-serving our Business, Partners, and Consumers.
We are on the lookout for an experienced SAP Java Development Support Engineer for developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining business applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in improving system reliability and security through influential design contributions.

SAP Development Global Support team is responsible for the upkeep of multiple applications on SAP platform. Job responsibilities include, monitoring support quality, ensuring process adherence, identifying technical improvement areas for teams and/or individuals for effective support, identifying automation opportunities and implementing such efforts.
","responsibilities":"As this position is in Support Team, the developer is expected to be on call during their On-call assigned time and attend to production issues timely. This position will interact with SAP Functional, BASIS, Platform and Security teams on a regular cadence. Responsibilities also include but not limited to issue management, proactive system monitoring, upgrades and minor enhancements. Most of these services are delivered 24 x 7 by a globally distributed team located at various locations across the globe. We're thrilled to be looking for a dedicated and highly driven developer to join our dynamic team!
Preferred Qualifications
BStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex issues
Hands on experience with API testing tools like Postman, SOAP UI or JMeter.
Knowledge of debugging web application using browser dev tools like chrome DevTools.
Good understanding of SAP backend integration with SAP BTP using Cloud Connector and/or SAP CPI is preferable.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of experience in Application Development and Support.
2 years work in best practices of software development, system integration, unit testing and application performance tuning.
2 years experience in developing and maintaining Business application using Java , Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Security) and UI Frameworks (ReactJS, VueJS, Angular, or SAP UI5)
2 years of experience in developing and deploying applications on Cloud Platform ( SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, AWS, or Google Cloud)
2 years hands on experience in consuming/developing HTTP Services (REST/SOAP WebServices, OData etc).
Proficiency in application monitoring and observability tools like DynaTrace , Splunk , Kibana , OpenSearch etc.
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
