Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product conformance by verifying that components and assemblies meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. You will conduct inspections and testing using various measuring instruments to ensure quality throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

  • Verify that components and assemblies meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
  • Detect non-conforming products and prevent defective items from reaching customers.
  • Record inspection results, test data, non-conformance reports, and quality records accurately and completely.
  • Verify adherence to company quality procedures, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.
  • Analyze quality issues, identify root causes, and contribute to corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and process efficiency.
  • Observe production activities to ensure processes remain within established quality parameters and tolerances.
  • Help minimize scrap, rework, and production delays by identifying quality problems early.
  • Communicate inspection findings and work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations for quality, reliability, and performance.
